As he prepares to stand for election this year, Daniel Foganholi is determined to serve his community. Here, we hear about his background and key aims as he sets his sights on election success.
Passion to help people
Having signed his first record contract at the age of 23 after being in the entertainment business, Daniel Foganholi’s background is certainly different to most people standing for public office.
Running for State Representative of Florida’s 97th District in 2022, he is determined to serve his community to the best of his ability.
Daniel attended Ramblewood Middle School and Coral Springs Charter before attending Florida Atlantic University to earn certificates in Marketing and Business Management.
It was during this time that he honed his passion for helping people and being involved in the community, as he got involved with his church, as well as organizations Habitat for Humanity and Feeding America.
This community has given so much to his family and now he wants to give back to it.
Importance of family
But while Daniel hopes to serve his community as best as he can, he has also set his sights on building excitement around the Republican Party that most people are not familiar with.
He is on a mission to get young people involved in order to ensure that they understand conservative views, in addition to helping to push the party forward.
As a devoted husband to his beautiful wife, Alyssa, and father to an energetic toddler named Daniel Jr, he also never forgets the importance of family.
Daniel is the first generation American son of immigrants from Brazil, who came to the United States with a dream of making a better life for their children.
America First
Immediately after high school, Daniel pursued a music career where he found a lot of success in touring the country.
He even had the opportunity to fly overseas and perform for the nation’s troops that are serving abroad. Furthermore, he signed his first record contract at the age of 23.
Being from the entertainment business, he tried to stay far away from the political arena.
But the older he got, the more he saw the lack of leadership in the community and how much it affects the people around him, as well as his own family.
The Republican candidate truly believes in America First values and, now, he wants to help deliver change.
