Despite what the capitalism name might tell you a business that is smart should never put profits and money at the very top of their priorities.
First of all that leads to a much worse quality of either the product or services you are delivering not to mention that customers are always smart and they notice all these small greedy tactics.
So no skimming out on the quality nor any savings at the staff expense because one things worse than losing customers is losing the trust of actual employees doing all the work.
